CHAUCER'S WORLD

For A Level English students studying The Canterbury Tales, and their teachers, and for students who are interested in studying English at University.

This A-Level Study Day is being run on 13 and 20 March 2019 and will provide an opportunity to experience Oxford University's teaching and explore Chaucer and his world across two Oxford University venues: the Ashmolean Museum and the Bodleian Library. The Ashmolean's A-Level Study Days are designed to enrich and support delivery of the A-Level curriculum, giving access to the Ashmolean’s collections with museum curators and Oxford University academics with university-style lectures and workshops.

'The range of activities and lectures was very broad... to see teenage students touching and exploring a medieval manuscript was – from my perspective – very exciting'

Teacher of English, Queenswood School
