Boudin was one of the first painters to work out of doors. He observed carefully the landscapes, the sea and the skies. He admired the Dutch Masters but above all Boudin was motivated by light: Normandy, Brittany and the South of France all had different possibilities for him. In this talk, Alice Foster uncovers the work of this great French Master.
