An Exclusive Online Talk for Members of the Ashmolean

With Dr Andrew Shapland, the Sir Arthur Evans Curator of Bronze Age and Classical Greece

Sir Arthur Evans began excavating at Knossos in 1900 when he was Keeper of the Ashmolean, and he bequeathed his excavation archive to the Museum upon his death in 1941. This talk will explore what the Sir Arthur Evans Archive can tell us about the famous
