BREAKING THE RULES IN WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOP

One-day practical session in the Learning Studio

Booking is essential, see below

With artist John Somerscales

The unconventional work of the groundbreaking American artist and watercolourist Nita Engle - in her inspiring book 'How to make a watercolour paint itself' - suggests a welter of unconventional and unique techniques to create atmospheric and evocative landscapes.

In this one-day workshop, artist John Somerscales will demonstrate and lead you through some of these, including the use of wax resist, clingfilm, spattering, salt crystals, stamping and much more.
