Can lessons from the past guide our actions today? Join us for a compelling one-hour tour where we explore key agents of change through fascinating objects at the Museum. Each tour will lead you through this selection of objects and artworks (see below) and there are various dates to choose from.

On the Change Makers Tour we’ll uncover artistic, social, and religious transformations across time and cultures. This tour invites you to engage with thought-provoking insights and reflect on your own perspectives around these objects in the spotlight:

  • Japanese Samurai armour
  • Oxford Crown coin
  • The Deposition by Van Dyck
  • A Bishop Saint by Michele Giovanni Boni ('Giambono')
  • Sumerian King List cuneiform cylinder
  • Christ Among the Doctors by Jacopo Da Ponte ('Bassano')
