An Exclusive Talk for Members of the Ashmolean

With An Van Camp, Ashmolean Curator of Northern European Art

Join curator An Van Camp for a private after-hours tour of our current exhibition, Bruegel to Rubens: Great Flemish Drawings, showcasing around 120 Flemish drawings from the 16th and 17th centuries.

This small group tour is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy these stunning masterpieces, which are rarely on display, up close.

An will share her expertise of the artists’ skills and the art historical context in which these exquisite works were created. She will look at their materials and techniques, as well as the stories the artists wanted to tell and the significance and place of these works in the wider context of 16th and 17th-century Flemish art,
