Master craftsman Kiyokawa Hiroki will demonstrate the intricate process of kintsugi restoration and talk about its history, its materials and techniques, and the ideas behind it.
Kintsugi bowl by Kiyokawa
With 50 years of experience as a kintsugi practitioner, Kiyokawa-san will share his practical knowledge of this highly specialised traditional art form and discuss its inspiring philosophy, rooted in a belief in the beauty of imperfection and the spirit of sustainability.
