What is the Ashmolean Adventure?
Featuring 11 objects and paintings, this new digital guide for families offers an interactive exploration of some of the Museum's most intriguing objects through a variety of multimedia activities.
On a multimedia device, rub away a mummy to reveal what's inside, hear musical instruments come to life, design an Islamic tile or play with perspective in a painting. The Ashmolean Adventure digital guide is packed with games and quizzes, sounds and stories, as well as design and drawing activities – each activity is different because each object is different.
Please note that one activity about Impressionist paintings refers to a painting that is currently not on display due to changing gallery exhibition displays.
