Set among Oxford’s dreaming spires, the Ashmolean Museum is an enchanting venue for your wedding. 

Join us for an inspiring evening showcasing the beautiful and unique spaces within the Ashmolean where you can celebrate your dream wedding.

Our Wedding Showcase will bring together a group of our trusted, hand-picked suppliers and creatives to showcase how they, and the Museum, can bring your dream day to life.

Expect a night of entertainment including a complimentary cocktail/glass of fizz to enjoy in our stunning rooftop space, sample our catering partner's delicious delights, explore design ideas with our featured A-list suppliers, and take away a goodie bag full of ideas to help start your wedding planning.

You'll also be able to meet our team and experience the magic and possibilities offered by the Museum's galleries on a grand tour with our dedicated Events Managers.

What to expect

  • Local Summertown boutique Clements & Church, specialising in fine/luxury tailoring will be showcasing their fabulous bridal groomswear collection. Speak to Head Tailor Connie about wedding fashion trends for 2025 & enjoy real life models put on a fashion show as they meander between galleries and guests.
  • Discuss wedding photography with Vicki and Helen from V&H Wedding Photography, who specialise in relaxed, natural documentary style wedding photography capturing real feelings, fun and genuine emotion.
  • For more of a vintage wedding photo experience, meet the PBooth Oxford-based photo-booth rental company and find out about their choice of fun and quirky photo-booth backdrops.
  • Meet the married couple duo behind the creative MT STUDIOS, they work together to create unforgettable wedding memories through their photography and videography. Their wedding photography is spontaneous and unconfined.
  • Join expert cake maker Chell, founder of Chell Bells Cakes for a live wedding cake watercolour demo. Chell Bells Cakes are a luxury cake brand based in Oxford and London specialising in premium ganache cakes.
  • Meet Laura, founder of Lucca Studios, home of romantic wedding stationery, to discuss how she creates those beautiful finishing touches to your big day.
  • Meet Katie from Katie Lou Weddings, a bespoke wedding planning service for modern, busy couples dreaming of a timeless and elegant wedding which is a true reflection of them as a couple.
  • Meet Anne a qualified and experienced celebrant from Bluebell ceremonies and be inspired by her thoughtful, beautifully crafted ceremonies to mark the important milestones in your life.
  • Lights, audio, visual, event production: see how That Event Company transform the Museum's spaces with their lights and learn about their live streaming packages.
  • Enjoy live soprano singing by the talented Imogen Moore, who will add a magical atmosphere to your wedding day. And fall in love all over again with romantic ambience created by talented harpist Noa Davies.
  • Treat yourself to an electric performance by Matt Stevens Acoustic Gent, as he teams up with other local Oxford musicians to deliver spectacular evening music among our colossal Greek statues.
