POETRY IN THE GALLERIES
In Surovi's exhibition in Gallery 8
Drop-in, FREE activity on Saturday afternoon
Gallery 8, Lower Ground Floor
With Oxfordshire poets
Poets from Oxford and surrounding areas will explore and celebrate the Museum’s pieces, renowned or recherche, intriguing or glorious and newly-acquired artworks.
Poems will be recited next to the objects and artworks that inspired the poets. If you want to talk to the poets, most of us are friendly!
The October tour will be inside our free exhibition in Gallery 8 on the lower ground floor, featuring the contemporary artist Soma Surovi Jannat's exquisite drawings and murals. It's a last chance to enjoy this remarkable show in a unique way before it closes.
