Beginning with the story of the Museum itself, this tour provides an introduction to the people, objects and ideas that shaped the Ashmolean.

Uncover stories from a selection of highlights spanning art, archaeology and coins from across the Museum's collections, revealing connections between cultures, histories and artistic traditions from around the world.

Note the tour explores several galleries across the Museum and includes periods of standing and walking. If you have any access requirements, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to support your visit.
