VISITING THIS WEEKEND?

The One World Family Festival will be taking place across the Museum from 11am - 4pm on Sat 14 and Sun 15 Feb, with performances and workshops in the Atrium and some of the galleries. It is likely to be busier than usual and more lively throughout the day. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Museum and the free event

Museum admission is free and no booking is required for general admission.

Booking is strongly recommended for our current exhibition, This Is What You Get: Stanley Donwood, Radiohead, Thom Yorke.

TEMPORARY CLOSURES

10, 11 & 12 Feb – Egypt at its Origins Gallery 22 closure 

On Tue 10 and Wed 11 Feb, the Egypt at its Origins Gallery will close for the reinstallation of one of the Min statues. On Thu 12 Feb, the gallery will be partially closed. One of the Min statues was on loan and is now returning to the gallery.

19 Mar – Rooftop Restaurant early closure

On Thu 19 Mar, the Rooftop Restaurant will close at 4.30pm, with last orders at 4pm. 

19 Apr – Rooftop Restaurant early closure

On Thu 19 April, the Rooftop Restaurant will close at 4.30pm, with last orders at 4pm. 

21 Apr – Rooftop Restaurant closure

On Tue 21 Apr, the Rooftop Restaurant will be closed for a private event.

23 Apr – Rooftop Restaurant early closure

On Thu 23 April, the Rooftop Restaurant will close at 4.30pm, with last orders at 4pm. 

Arts of the Renaissance Gallery 56 – Rings Display Removed

The rings have been removed from the Finger Rings display in the Arts of the Renaissance Gallery (56) on Level 2, while the case is being renovated.
